Hello, in the process of putting my fat bike hydra build together. Using a 150mm hub option, is the Wren 150mm travel a better option to use over the 110mm travel if available? Also tapered steerer tube is what I need correct? Thanks in advance.
Pretty sure you want the 150mm travel fork as opposed to the 110mm model.
More travel better....
My guess is that you will have to go with the tapered steerer tube as the straight ones are not redially available from my experience.
I think the Hydra has a tapered head tube as well. Worse case you can get a Cane Creek headset that will let you install a tapered steerer tube in a straight head tube, I did that for an old Surly Wednesday bike I had.
