Wolf tooth 52t chainring - use 9 or 10 speed chain?

Based on feedback here I’m upgrading my chainring to a Wolf tooth narrow wide chainring. I have the 9 speed Ripcurrent S. on Wolf tooth’s website under the description of the chainring it says the following:

“If using a 9-speed drivetrain use a 10-speed chain. It fits tighter for better chain retention”

So should I use a 10 speed chain on my Ripcurrent s with this chainring? Or keep using 9 speed chain? I want to upgrade to a Kmc chain.
