Unless the Rize site shows stock today, they have been restocking 2-3 months out all year. Most folks end up in the 2-month order window. If you want to get your ebike quickly, I don't know if I'd recommend you getting a Voltbike.
Even before pandemic, their (realistic) average shipping time was 1.5 to 2 months.
I don't know if Rize or Juiced would be any better, in terms of shipping speed.
If you can afford an 1000w Ultra mid-drive, they are absolutely worth the extra money. The Rize RX has both torque AND cadence sensors, 1000W power, 19.5 AH battery, and power for days! I have both, and the Ultra Mid is a monster for the money. The 750's are still great bikes if you are budget limited.I was planning spend approx $2,500 CAD, is it worth paying extra cash on RX compared to X ? I don't mind waiting 8 weeks that's why I want to order bike next few days.
Do you need change settings to get 1000 Watts from motor? If you can afford an 1000w Ultra mid-drive, they are absolutely worth the extra money. Bitrix also carries a few similar Ultra Mids and 750 Hub bikes, but not sure about stock either. They are also Canadian. If you want a full suspension, the juggernaut FS is a popular option without getting above the 4K price point. But the regular mids are awesome if you want the best bang for the buck between 2-3K CAD.
Not on the Ultra Series Motors. They are factory rated at 1000W nominal, 1500W peak. Some guys with custom controllers unlock them and boost them to more, but you can't get that deep in the programming on the newest gen. There is some customization possible with a programming cable and the free software, but the core firmware and peak power limits must be done with a factory authorized software login. I've heard suggestions that MAYBE Bitrix will help you unlock the Ultras?Do you need change settings to get 1000 Watts from motor?
Yes, I've also seen some references to some being detuned to comply with regional regulations. Rize does not adjust the tune on domestic sales as there is no real enforcement in Canada. I have no idea which brands do it, and whether or not they might unlock it for you, but it's always worth asking. I know Luna does that monster tune for a fee, but there are reports that those extreme tunes definitely shorten the motor life. I can only image what they do to drivetrain wear! lol.Don't quote me on this, I used to think that 1000W was the factory rating for Ultra, but it seems that some ebike companies are rating Ultra as 750W.
I believe WattWagons Ultra is 750W 20mph by default. (upgradable to 2300W nominal, 3000W max)
Sondors Ultra is again, 750W by default.
In addition, if I'm not wrong, Luna Apollo Ultra is 750W by default (2000W "ludicrous" tune available)
I do believe it's worth the extra cash if you have it to spend, but the other bike is quite good too. The mid is just faster and FAR more powerful on the hills. Like, double the effective power because of the mechanical advantage of the gears. And 55-60Kph out of the box with throttle. The rize rx is nearly sold, only available in red. Would I regret not buying it if I got the rize x. Is it worth extra cash?
Live in Toronto my trip is up and down, long 500m 30 degree slopes. My old ebike used throttle going up as it was hard cycle at end of day.I do believe it's worth the extra cash if you have it to spend, but the other bike is quite good too. And mine is red and I like the red a lot. My x is black and it's nice but shows dirt and oil easily. You won't be disappointed with either one, unless you live in North Van or Seattle-like cities, where the mid drive will justify itself in no time.
