What Waterproof Pants Do You Like For E-Biking?

I have several sets of these FT, they keep me dry and warm and are wind proof + tough, also use them for hunting/trapping.
They don't like barbed wire fences thou.........LOL

"Waterproof" pants won't keep you dry because you'll sweat in them and soak yourself in your own fluids. Depending on your metabolism and the ambient temperature it can take an astonishingly small amount of exertion, or even no exertion at all, to turn a pair of waterproof pants into a portable sauna.

"Waterproof/breathable" fabrics are in a spectrum, with usually a choice between more waterproofness and less breathability or less waterproofness and more breathability. So you need to pick your poison.

At very low temperatures liquid water isn't the problem anyway. If your pants are made with a slippery enough fabric snow will fall right off of them.

When I do wear pants when riding a bike I like pants which are windproof but have very little fabric to absorb water. And also have zippers or velcro flaps at the cuffs to there isn't a big piece of fabric to catch in the chain. A lot of pants made for nordic skiing are good choices.

Cold or cool weather pants I like:

The Montbell Tachyon pants weigh 54g (1.9 oz in Freedom Units) and dry out instantly. They are slippery and layer nicely over some long underwear bottoms for very cold days.

Also, Showers Pass sells some bicycle-focused rain pants that are well thought of, though I haven't personally used them.
