I heard a crash in the night and woke up to find the Black bears had ripped me a new one again...hole in the fence that is. I never close my gate anymore and I don't even have a fence across the back greenbelt but they routinely smash through to get into the neighbor's yard. Global warming + easy access to garbage = no hibernating. I am thinking maybe I should install a turnstile.
