this is OSHU my wife was getting this first of its kind eye surgery so I went around and too pics. its fun to ride fairly steep but lots of forrest and the road goes around al the hospitals. the tram is a great view but it is closed to the public right now.

she has a genetic eye disorder and they came up with this new treatment using crispr to snip out the bad genes and replace them with good ones right under her retina. she may have been the first but then the pandemic hit and stopped the problem now she is 3rd but the first with a higher dose. they put the poor woman through weeks of 8 hour days testing her sight and all kinds of medical workups. all kinds of wacky eye tests including ultrasounds. the micro surgery went great but now she cant ride our tandem for 2 weeks.
