Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Weather here has been lousy, but there was a break on Friday afternoon so I got a short stint in.
Good news is that I decided to see how far I could go on one charge with the 800wh battery and so far I'm up to 83kms with 39% left. :)
Short stint? That’s awesome, Dave. So close to hitting that m-century. 👍 It was a few degrees above freezing here but we still managed to get out for a ride. Expecting wet flurries tomorrow though. 🥺

To be honest, that 83kms is three rides... a 60/8/15, so yeah, the last two were shorties inbetween downpours. :)
Good to see your roads opening up!

It sucks riding in the wet and here’s hoping that you can squeeze a few more rides in over the following week. 🤞 If it’s of any consolation, the shoulder seasons here can be pretty brutal too.
here is some pixs from SOCali
Sure, rub more salt in the wound. ;) While you're at it, can you radio one of those choppers to pick me up and then drop me off at the beach...preferably near one of those palm trees.

Went for a ride in Grand Bay-Westfield today, to check out some stone sculptures, plus the bandstand. Everything looks so much better without snow--now if it would just green up.

Went for a spin to Brundage Point today, and got a better shot of one stone sculpture.

I went and gone ride Pearl Harbor Bike Path. Setting on riding the entire length 15 miles and back. But the sky started to turn gray. Weather is unpredictable here on the Island. I chicken out and turned around at the 5 mile marker.
There are many streams that flows into the harbor. I figure it would be an interesting theme for my Sunday ride to photograph my bike on bridges that crosses these streams.
Low tide on south shore of Mc Grew Point. There were lots of oysters free for the taking but not edible there are signs posted saying do not eat shell fish. I may go back for mangoes tho. Tree is freaking loaded this season.
I took a detour and went to Palama Market in Pearl City to buy Korean rice cake and a shot of 8oz Red Bull.
Just chilling now. Drinking Stolichnaya.
Then remove and replace chain on Da Ridiculous Bike.
What Fox fork is that I just installed a Fox 36E factory on bike and wow while I haven't had a chance to really get after it the word smooth comes to mind.

I rode around town I had couple items to send back to Amazon. Change of scenery from my usual off road commute to work.
1st stop is at shell station for can of Starbuck coffee. Took my time to UPS store they open 9am. 2nd stop was at a food truck that sells fresh malasadas. Sweet treat for the ride. I noticed a new construction site at Waikele Center where I saw murals done by elementary grade school children on the containment wall.
Random pictures of my ride.

this is a bit of crazy portlanders do on a bike. this is the Ladd circle 500. if you go around it 500 times its 100 miles. we did two laps because I could not get over. I go this way 5 days a week. I guess it's a team thing where you have to change team members like 10 times or if solo change bikes. here is the overhead view.

These shots were taken pausing just long enough to capture the storm clouds moving in on what was supposed to be an extended ride around the countryside on a very warm, sunny afternoon, but ended up being a quick "around the block and back".

The clouds were white and puffy and there was copious amounts of blue skies above when I left home. Honestly. By the time I decided the heat was a bit much and I was no longer enthusiastic about going further down the road, the skies had turned into the picture above.

I was 1 mile from home when the clouds began to release a few advance raindrops. I pulled into the garage just as the sparce drips suddenly turned into a torrent. I turned around to stare out the open garage door at the pounding rain just as a rumble of thunder shook the landscape.

Never was I so glad to listen to my gut when it told me to postpone planned ride for another day, and to head home.

But I did get two awesome pictures!

Thank you. 😁 I have to take it to the shop tomorrow for another tweak of the gearing. ATM I'm spinning at too high a cadence in the gears for my liking. I had been trying to get acclimated to the difference between this bike and it's identical twin, but the unmatched gear ratios are just making me uncomfortable instead. I want them to feel the same so that switching from one bike to the other is seamless.

As soon as this issue is fixed, I'll be on the Rivian Blue a lot more than I am now. I do love this bike. It is so incredibly smooth and utterly silent.

Did a little off road riding today at the Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve, in Grand Bay-Westfield.

I rode all the way out to Laguna Seca Raceway today to attend my first Sea Otter Classic.

I did a crappy job of taking pics, I'm afraid. Mostly took pics of products I wanted to look into further later on. Hint: Fat bikes are The Big Thing again.

This was Day 1 which is traditionally focused on vendors meeting vendors. Obviously a whole lot of people were thinking what I was thinking and took the day off to beat the weekend crowds, as by the afternoon it was starting to get pretty full. And boy am I glad I didn't drive in. Tons of people had bikes on racks and parked at a venue parking lot and then rode their bikes around. On my bike, I basically skipped to the head of every traffic line and rolled right in. Must have saved a half hour that way.

Schwalbe had armchairs and a back room with wifi. And it was one of the smaller setups as big names go.

Love the push bike in the front at the beer garden.
