Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

This is a typical picture of the area I ride and live, West Central Illinois . At one time a lot of this was prairie. It’s not all open ground, there are a lot of low areas, ravines, streams and rivers that will have a lot of trees. A lot of this area is some of the best farm ground in the world.

So my new rear tire seems to lose pressure way too fast (tubeless) and way faster than the front. I was thinking after a couple of weeks that the sealant might find the issue and seal it.
Nope.
It was suggested that perhaps the Presta valve core might be the culprit, so I went to the LBS for a new one.
Old on the left, new on the right...

Pumped back up to 30psi and ready to go.
For the last 10 days or so my knees have been completely toast. So bad that stairs and even putting on socks has been horribly painful, not to mention the lack of sleep.
Anyway I've had enough of that carp and even though I'm not fully functional yet I set off for a test ride.
It hurt... but at about 4-5 kms in I felt like things were starting to get loosened and lubed up. 10k in I felt even better even though my strength was not up to par.

New park I found...

This is the east end of Delta Watershed Park. Didn't want to wander in there today...

Amazing difference in temperature between last week (20C) and now (10C). I haven't needed more than a t-shirt for months. Today was a long sleeve shirt and sweater. Also dropped my fingerless gloves in favour the 100% Briskers and packed a windbreaker in the pannier.
I stopped halfway and donned the windbreaker. The 100% Briskers were barely enough as my fingertips were cold.
Glad I finally got out. Will try again tomorrow.

Just be thankful you don’t live in Calgary Dave. This is what they woke up to.

I’m sure @RandallS might have a word or two to say about that. Fortunately, we were lucky and only saw a few snowflakes. No ride for me today as I swapped over to winter wheels on our vehicle.

Glad to hear you were able to get out on the bike today and hope that you feel better soon. Good call on the valve, BTW. 👍

OK, I'll shaddap!

I did a recreational ride today on Da Ridiculous Bike. We had rain last night so I wanted to test it in the mud, it wasn't as sticky as I anticipated because it was already half dry. I had a couple spills when my front wheel got caught in a rut left behind from 4 wheelers. The fall was soft and nothing to be embarrassed about nobody was there to witness it.
I included some barn pictures for @dodgeman.
I use to work for parks and recreation, these barns from plantation days are now used by city and county and HPD.

Replying...
Crapola - we got a fair amount, but it's Calgary and it will disappear on it's own in a few days.

I did take my battery out of the Intrigue last night as the temps were iffy and my garage is uninsulated.

Pulled out my warmer clothing in preparation and brought the ISP Wheels back down out their storage niche in the rafters too.
I'm back to picking the wheels for the route and conditions, and the weather is kicking the hell out of me and my arthritis.
Better living through chemistry...

edit: Topping up on a screenshot of a FB posting from a fellow Nose Hill rider:

I'm feelin' your pain, literally lately. Hope it abates quickly mate.

More leaves on the ground and the colors are turning to pastel this weekend in the metro Boston area. Finally made it to the Middlesex Fells on Friday and had a deer bound past me pretty close while I was performing a "safety check" (at the rock pic) which got the heart rate going. Stuck to the carriage paths closer to the reservoir on the west side of 93. A lot more to explore there, glad it's within range. Saturday and Sunday was spent exploring some yet unridden trails in Weston.

Sundays ride was another knee test. More to beat them into submission and get some enjoyment out of the new tires. Jury on the new valve core is still out.
Rain for the next 10 days or so (we need it) so this fair weather rider will have to look for short openings...

Me and trains seem to be on a similar rhythm...

Workin' hard...

Toys...

Low rent shacks on the wrong side of town...

These guys are trying hard to hang on...

Nice. 👍The conditions might be cooler there than what the surroundings depict. The giveaway was the pair of insulated gloves on your bike seat. Nevertheless, I’m still envious.

With so few days left before the cold and snow arrive, I’ve been trying to take advantage of the mild conditions and today was no exception. I left my wife to her own devices and set out on the local trails albeit at a more relaxed pace. Today was all about taking it easy and enjoying the surroundings.

Too much rain here, or I'm workin' so I have to live vicariously through your ride pics!

Well, that sucks. More than likely that water-logged trail will never dry out now. Hopefully, you’ll get a break in the weather by the weekend. 🤞

The body wasn’t really feeling up to it today but I did still manage to hit the usual trails including local mtb park. There were so many leaves on the park singles that it was difficult to see what laid in waiting beneath them. I definitely didn’t want to risk a high-speed fall so I took a slightly cautious approach.

I’m still a bit sore and tired from my Banff outing but really want to milk these remaining fine days for all their worth. Then, as I was riding along the Pines singletrack which follows immediately after exiting the mtb park, I spotted a young mule deer along the side of the trail and noticed that it was acting strange. Normally, these creatures bolt anytime they sense someone coming. That’s when I noticed its left hind leg was broken at the heel and hanging on by just a few ligaments. I can only speculate that it might have been tagged by a passing car somewhere along the nearby roadside. Poor thing. It probably won’t survive the week.

Glad you're still rockin'! Sad to hear the deer was in bad shape. Ugh!

Along the Columbia river between Hood River and Mosier OR on a no cars segment of highway 30. I ride here often as rainy weather west of here usually stops around Hood River. Almost the entire 50 mile drive to get there was rain and dense fog.
