I’m an addict so every bike ride is exiting to me

I am new to join, I heard this is a good forum to ask questions.

I am 48 this year, I used to be a keen cyclist but my job requires me to be on my feet 9-5 every day for years. After years and years of work, my knees are starting to give in and the doctor told me I need to ease off on cycling if I want to keep my job.

Naturally, I am thinking of buying an electric bike, I came across this cool looking bike with very bright rear lights. I tracked them down and found their website. What do you guys think? Here is their website https://www.waubike.com/

Rode to the county courthouse to pay taxes. There is no bike rack. I asked. There used to be one, shrug. And I guess I probably should not have parked my bike at the courthouse either.



Then I rode back home. Dogs are out, must remember pepper spray next time. East Omak has mean dogs.

Mt Holyoke on a blustery late February day. 800+ feet of gain in just over 2 miles.
TerraTrike Rover with 350W Bafang BBS02 + 840Wh custom battery.
This thing is a BLAST to ride, both up and downhill (on pavement, of course.)
Who knew recumbent trikes could be so much phun!?!

Yet another stormy weekend but I spotted a 3 hour weather window today so I wasn't passing it up, almost 54 miles and 50 of them were dry but very blustery with almost 50mph gusts...I stayed local due to the inclement weather and picked my route very carefully but of course 4 miles from home the weather closed in and I was bombarded by yet another hail storm followed by sleet and snow! Luckily I just got home before the heavens really opened and after a nice hot bath I feel like I accomplished something

Over 4,000ft of climbing which kept me warm in the bitterly cold wind, 512miles completed so far this year from 10 rides which gives me an average of 51.2 miles! February has been the worst month we have encountered for a very long time so here's hoping March will bring us more luck on the weather front, it can only improve (famous last words) A nice Sunday for once would be a bonus No photos today, I really didn't want to remove my gloves in that biting wind...

Thankfully that was just in the last hour but almost every weekend recently we have have been getting 60-70mph gusts so it was rather tame today The weight of the e bike certainly helps in strong winds, when I had my carbon racer anything over 30mph was a no go...

I now have 17 consecutive 50 mile plus rides, I'm sure my bubble will burst soon...

That's an XLC telescopic suspension post (w/90mm of travel!) I got at bikes-discount, a $30 alternative to $150+ Thudbuster/BodyFloat posts.

EVERYONE thinks it's a dropper Works great,much better than most coil sprung posts IME

My regular ride around Madison County Missouri now ranges from 30 to 40 miles. It’s mostly quiet back-country county roads, a mix of new, smooth blacktop, rough blacktop and gravel. I’m finding the gravel, especially when it’s mostly compacted dirt, is the most enjoyable to ride on. Even better is when these “roads” are half the size of a normal road, more like paths. There’s almost no traffic in the back country so they really do feel like bike paths. The roads with more traffic (still not much at all) are plenty wide, usually with decent blacktop. Lots of low bridges, streams and a couple of lakes. I do errands into town 7 miles away but haven’t taken any photos of that ride.

Edge, on all my bikes I ride Brooks. On my two Gains, I have Brooks Pro's and B17's on my Domane and Storck. Can't be beat once broken in for comfort.
