Seeking advice regarding Como 5 w/ Thule Chariot Chinook 2 Child Trailer

Hi All,

New Como 5 2020 Owner here, hoping to receive some advice. I purchased a used child trailer called "Thule Chariot Chinook 2" and would like to tow this unit with my Como 5. The Thule came with a thru-axle which has that "quick release" lever. The Como 5 rear wheel does not have a quick release. Should i be able to use the thru-axle that came with the Thule or do i need some sort of special part to make it work with my Como 5?

I have the same setup with my 2020 Vado 4.0. I bought an axle from Robert Axle Project. It worked perfectly and fits the bike and trailer hitch like a glove.
