Riese Muller Supercharger with Kiox Display

I have just ordered a new 2019 Supercharger with the e-14 and Kiox display.
As a Cobi user I have become used to direct Strava uploads and not needing a separate bike computer so was a bit disappointed to find that Cobi does not support Electronic shifting so went with Kiox hoping for the hinted GPS update to come!
Has anyone actually got one of the Kiox displays yet?

If there is no physical GPS receiver inside the Kiox, I cannot see how the unit be can be updated to record one's route. Maybe, there'll be a way to link the Kiox's functionality with GPS data from a smartphone (but I doubt it).

There is an interesting EBR video on youtube where when asked about GPS they strongly suggest it as a future upgrade. Anyway my only choice was between kiox and intuvia.

The Kiox will be capable of connecting to your phone in the future and Bosch is creating an environment for Apps to connect to the Kiox so there will be many more options to follow, including GPS (via a Smartphone).
