It looks as if you folks had a great ride. Do you know the water bottle carrier on the first guy's fork? A friend needs one.

No need to steal plums....

I must admit I envy, Mr Gravel Man ,Mr Fast and their crew.
You guys are prime examples of Zen riders!!!!!
I've riden ebikes however it has only been less than a year since I bought my own.
I am averaging 35-40 miles on a full charge on my bike.
I'm pondering on a road bike for touring around on the Island.
I went on a 10 mile sprint at the State Park via mostly well maintained paths.
I too stole fruits from my neighbour.
Actually it's not stealing, the fruits were hanging on my property.
I will eat them with some Ben & Jerry ice cream.
Looks like a nice place to cycle.

As his Merida Silex is equipped with two bosses on each side of the fork, he just uses the most simple water-bottle-cages. For bikes not equipped with proper bosses, special zip-tie straps are made for attaching anything to the fork; for example SKS makes such straps.

Here, generic zip-tie straps for the same purpose.
No need to steal plums....
Unfortunately, I can only eat one or two plums a year... (allergy and other issues). In my happy years of childhood, my parents and parents of Jacek owned a big land property. We had a huge orchard with all types of fruit...

This beauty cannot be described with words: it's feelings.

Welcome to the Electric Bike Review Forum, a place where ebikers swap yarns and help one another.

There are many threads on the EBR Forum but this is the one where we celebrate the pure joy of our ebike adventures. During these difficult times, few of us have ventured across our state or provincial boundaries, let alone visited another country. Stefan in Poland is one of the fortunate exceptions, and we hugely enjoy his tales!

Please share your adventures on this Our Rides in Words, Photos, Videos & Maps thread. You are guaranteed an appreciative audience.

A nice leisurely ride on my local back roads today, it was so chilled and very enjoyable! The weather was perfect for cycling once again, I really don't know whats happening with our weather but I'm not complaining! ;) After Sundays epic it was nice to just take it easy today, the only downside was my power switch was giving me problems! It actually had a hiccup on Sunday also but cleared itself eventually, only to stop working altogether for a good chunk of my ride today! I think I will try to source a replacement but the bike is still working fine as all I have to do is connect the battery and I have eco power which is fine for most roads, this is where having 22 gears really pays off!

It wasn't the most scenic ride but I did take some pictures, very hard to match Sundays quality pictures but thats life! ;) I was very surprised to see my average speed was 16.6mph today as I really was taking it easy, not as much climbing as usual though! I'm hoping to get out tomorrow and Thursday and then I will be off the bike for a week as I need to look after my dad while my sister is on holiday! Hopefully I can source a new power switch for the bike and have it working properly when I return!

Pleasant enough for my enjoyment. Sorry about your switch. I might just start getting jealous of you folks with kickstands!!! Not only can you pose the bike but you can also just leave it to take photos without having to find the right leaning-post!

My brother typically finds a large stone and places it under one of pedals of his Trance E+ for taking photographs :)
Yes, I've posted my picture with my bike standing next to a beach log. Found just the right nubbin on the log for the pedal to hold against. Hmm, since I have an electric bike, maybe I should just pack the right rock or brick for photo opportunities! ;) But a kickstand while not very natural might be lighter.

@David Berry: since you have disabled your PMs, could you just whisper the brand and model name of your camera? (I know it is a delicate subject). My manager is looking for that sort of camera, and your information would be helpful!

My bike didn't come with a kickstand but after leaning it against various objects to take a photo it was a no brainer to purchase one, money very well spent!

I can't quite make that decision yet. Kickstand is so 4-10 years of age!!!! o_O
We will forgive Rab installing a kickstand on a road e-bike (he's a Scot anyway) but kahn don't do it yourself! You'll ruin your positive image! :D

Besides, I intend to be in Scotland at the end of September. Rab: Glasgow or Aberdeen? What do you recommend for a short trip?

Oh, see how observant I am. Until you mentioned it, I did not realize he had a ROAD bike!!! Appalling!

I wouldn't visit this year, Covid is really escalating at the moment! :( Glasgow is one of the worst at the moment but Aberdeen is one of the lowest so if I was choosing I know where I would go! Aberdeen will be pretty cold at the end of September so wrap up warm!;)
