this is the biggest hassle with the tandem is dealing with the timing chain. you have two 6mm bolts that clamp the bottom bracket in place and with our a pin in one of the holes then rotate the crank to loosen it till you can put the new chain on. and tighten up. I will have to do this a couple ofttimes as the chain wears. I had no clue about hw the bottom bracket rotated when Had to replace the first chain.
