At the outset of this journey, I wanted to get a e-bike because of the exercise component.
I did see a couple used T1000's on kijij where they had a strap wrapped around the battery, holding it to the bike frame.
One thing I don’t have to do is justify a purchase……I have and it
Sorry have not been on here for a while. So far, I really like the bike. The Battery size is great, not too many bikes out there with that size of battery. I ride most of the time with the power off, only turn it on when I get to hills. I like the fact that it came with front and rear racks as well as fenders at no extra cost. All the components on the bike are good quality. For the money, it's a good deal.Just curious about your thoughts about the T1000?
If you get this and install it let me know what you think of it.To go 45 kph, you need to be "actively pedaling".
I think that the guy in the video thought he could go 45 kph without pedaling?
I have no interest in going 45 kph.
I want to turn down the power and turn down my throttle speed.
And the off-road display apparently also eliminates the lag when you start and stop pedaling.
So I think that this display will work perfectly for my needs.
The display from Amego is $140 plus $25 shipping and with tax, comes to $186.
I got the display from New Zealand for $225.17 CAD which allows me to turn down a lot more settings.
It will still get me to 32 kph, but not in half a second like original display.

I have an ET F1000 with the 21aH battery and fully programmable display, that’s how i bought it. I live in AU.
Yes a thumb throttle that’s more like an on/off switch but i can ride around that. Yes PAS can be set to 45 klm/h but jeez you would need to be pedalling like crazy to get there. I needed torque as i tow my 2 small dogs in a trailer. Plus i’m disabled and ebikes are my primary forms of transport. I have mid and hub drives plus 2 escorts.Does your ET F1000 have a throttle, and can you set the PAS mode speed to 45 kph?
