I need to replace a KT controller KT 48SVPRM-SX08FX. However, it's extremely difficult to find the exact one. Search results produce web sites that sell several controllers but none that are exact. They sell through description/features not model number. Compounding things.. mine is for a dual battery configuration with jolet connections. It came off a Model S from Electric Bike Company (EBC). They are no help as I think they are going out of business. Does anybody know of a website that sells controllers where I can input the model number ? Thanks

I would think only the factory sells them by model numbers, and you probably need to order 1000 units to get their attention. The resellers that sell KT units have stocked models that are popular sellers.
On the plus side, KT is a well documented brand with a variety of displays, and they are all compatible, I believe you will have to replace your unit, selecting by current capability, sine wave vs square wave, connector type and physical size.
The SVP designation means it is a sine wave controller. That also means it is a sensored controller. Any 48V KT sine wave controller with the appropriate current and the same Julet connectors should work. A combo 48V/36V unit will also work.
