So often I hear people bemoan the Chinese Ebike, well it looks like Biktrix has heard them.
This is a made in North America Ebike the frame is welded up in California, I am not sure how much is later assembled in Canada.
Seems to have very solid components.
Just in time for the USMCA agreement that goes into effect July 1 2020, this will be a no tariff Ebike.
Says only 50 will be made....which I assume is the first run to see how it will do for sales.

"Powder coated black with customizable graphics to make your bike as unique as you." Interesting.

See link, I am sure Roshan will be adding to this thread once he see's it.

The whole thing is assembled in Canada from what I've seen in person (right here in Saskatoon!).

It's a really beautiful and well-specced bike, I got a chance to take it for a quick test ride and was totally blown away! Very light and nimble, while still being a completely smooth ride. Excellent fork and tires on good wheels make a big difference.

Could you say built in Canada under the guidelines, what is it 60% or something like that ?
If they just get the frame, and put everything on it I would consider that made in Canada.

I'm under the impression that any bike built in the US or Mexico can be shipped to Canada duty free, as per the NAFTA agreement.

July 1, 2020 it switches to the USMCA, not usre what the percentage is under that agreement, I think it's higher than NAFTA, at least that is what Trump wanted

Any one ordered this bike yet or know anything about it? Is that huge battery stable just mounted to the frame tube like that or might a lateral fall knock it loose or make it wobble?

The battery is super stable. The Rivvnuts in the frame are designed for the battery!
