With the torque sensor on my CCS, it's not exactly like ghost pedaling. You have to put some pressure to get a good response from the motor. But not much. I turned off the torque sensor and ghost pedaled with cadence sensor only. It's a distinct difference; I can ghost pedal with no pressure on the pedals at all. Now, that really does feel like "clown pedalling." I could see a use for it if I didn't have a throttle and my knees were bothering me, as they were a bit this past week.
