Is there a difference between the high step and mid step radmission besides standover height?

I'm about 5'10 with a 32 inch inseam. I'm trying to figure out if I should get the high step or the midstep radmission.

I'm looking at the measurements for both, and besides the standover height they seem about the same? Is there a difference between them besides that?

Is the 1 cm difference in reach enough to make a difference in comfort? I'm leaning towards getting the high step, but I worry about having to bend too far.

I don’t presently have the Mission, but I think the only difference in the two models is the sloping top tube. I am 6 feet tall with a 31 inch inseam, and I have the Radrover high step. It’s a tall bike, and I can barely straddle the top tube with my feet on the ground. After having ridden the Rover for 6 months, if I had to choose again, I would get the step-through model. I would think it would be much easier getting on and off (especially with anything on the back), a safer feeling, plus your smaller friends could ride it! The high-step Mission lists a stand over height of 31 inches, which is half an inch taller than the Rover. For these reasons, I myself would get the low-step version, though I like the look of the high-step better.

You also mentioned your concern about reach to the handlebars and riding position. I was considering the Mission before I bought the Rover, and someone at the company told me that the Mission is more of a traditional rode bike with a forward leaning rider position. I don’t know how much effect the half inch difference in reach they list would make between the two models. I would recommend calling Rad and speaking with someone who can offer you real world advice. Good luck! Let us know what you decide.

Yes, there is a difference.

If you go on Rad Power website, and if you scroll down, you can see a comparison where you can use a split screen to compare them side by side.
Thanks. I just didnt know how much different it would feel.

Do you think I should go for the high step or the mid step version at 5'10 with a 32 inch inseam?

I'm a bit worried the midstep will be too small because I read people at 5'8 say it felt small, but im also worried the high step will be too big.

Hi Timpo, what are the differences? Other than the geometry, I’m not seeing any. Thanks!
