This bike actually is a few years old as seen on the Bafang iGo video.
The mix of carbon frame, light Bafang M800 i and 21700 cell 200wh battery bring the bike in at 27lbs. on the salesroom floor. 5k usd standard decent components but to me stock componentry is not as important as the actual frame/motor/battery on any bike. The CVG must have some advantage there over the stock SL @ 31lb with better components and a bit bigger battery.
Problem is they didn't advertise this bike well enough and it has competition with the same system, but none as light stock. Also the bike looks to be road oriented without alot of room for more c tires and certainly not fenders so sport only, but that's a thing still if you have access to good pavement.
