Help us with pictures / paintings / wall decor ideas for Watt Wagons warehouse / office

We are looking to spruce up the bare walls of our warehouse with some interesting paintings / decor - something to add character to the space.

We have no shortage of "mural"-able wall space .

Looking for suggestions for pictures / posters / murals / decor etc that we can order/ buy, or potentially paint or make. Larger is good.


Please post your suggestions and get a Watt Wagons T-shirt !

You could use some of the space to put a flat globe map and create a pin map to show all the places in the world where you've shipped a WW.

We are up to 19 countries now ... so that is a GREAT idea.

I'd probably also use some space to create a collage of action shots from WW owners and even highlighing your build process. You could even use a projector to rotate images and videos on another section which would be great because you could always keep adding things to keep it fresh. You'd also be creating a WW history reel over time.

We moved our big flat screen tv down from its mount over the mantle to a lower position (much easier on the neck) and looked for some large art to cover up the tv mounting plate and recessed space.

If you had rotating electronic pictures as Bruce Brown suggested you definitely want to attempt to get nice pictures of unique bikes - Vinny's comes to mind.

And even if you wanted some posters, Costco will blow up a picture to poster size for like sub $20 or something.

After that....pictures of WW bikes in unique places. Like that thing with a "Wally" doll. (Where's Wally?) Pictures of it in front of all kinds of unique and beautiful places. Gets the next purchaser to thinking where their WW bike could take them. Keeps employees inspired with some of the higher value you bring to people's lives. Not just, "Oh yeah, we sell bikes."

Also fun action shots when you can collect them. Capture the emotion your bikes bring to life.

So the idea is to entertain/educate mostly internal audiences, right? Illustrating continuing successes in the form of customer photos of them and their WWs would hopefully be meaningful to employees. Kind of a growing family album.

I can start the wall of Bike Falls on a WattWagon or a soon but a little later high mileage bikes, 2nd choice is more fun and attainable.

Could be. Throw in a bit of company history that way. A lot depends on how big a space and how you can best project the images so you can change/add images in the future. Got a picture of the overall area?

Any support for rails to trail or any other bike related group , promote some of their stuff, biking community like, WattWagon bikes in rail to trail or single track , scenic stuff with bikes in pictures, a Hydra completely air born

Ikea has some cool oversized prints if you want some non-bike related wall art.

Maybe see if SRAM, Shimano, Rock Shox, etc. offer some of those big banners that you see in auto shops along the walls, those could be cool!

I have some ideas, based on previous jobs I have held. One job was to build a themed 4' X 8' wide collage of products and signs that would indicate what would be selling below.
The vendors were super helpful in providing all kinds of things to put on there for example in the handsaw bay one of the vendors provided a giant fake handsaw.
In the hammer bay Estwing hammer provided a giant fake hammer, made for super cool displays.
My suggestion is to approach all your vendors for all the banners and signs they aren't using that they would normally use for Ebikes/bikes trade shows right now.
Every time they go into a trade shows they need those banners. I know I have built booths at trade shows for multiple companies. Any signs they have to attract customer to their booths at range will be big and mountable to the walls. Some even had old school metal signs the type guys have in there wood shops, or neon lighted signs that highlight the vendor.
If I was doing something I would send an email to every ebike vendor explaining what you are doing, it's free advertising for them so they should want to do it, plus those banners are just gathering dust waiting for covid to break for when trade shows starts up again. Also they need to be free, we never paid for anything, it's part of vendor support. So for example a big Bafang banner.
If anybody tours your facility your primary vendors are highlighted for all to see in a large way.

I work at a motorcycle shop and I collect old sprockets and rotors of all kinds, also anything else that would normally be thrown away or scrapped. I like to decorate using these parts, I think they call this Upcycling. I've had the idea to practice my welding and try to create some yard-art for sometime now, I'm still in the collecting stage. I did not make that table, but it's inspiring.
