Hi All,

My name is Ray Goins, and I’m proud to become a part of the electric biking community. I just purchased one (Cyrusher XF660) for myself and one (ECOTRIC 20” Folding Fatbike) for my wife. I am 76 and my wife is 73, so we need all the assist we can get. lol! I’ve ridden Harley Davidson’s all my life, and still have two of them, but they are a lot harder to pick up now, when they fall over. We both want to continue to be out and about, so this electric bike is the way to go. God bless you all and stay safe.

Hi Ray, and welcome.

I love reading these introduction posts as so many times they lead me to look at e-bikes I had never seen before, like your Cyrusher.

My wife and I have several different styles of e-bike, but it seems like when we let friends or family ride them, they all have the biggest smiles after riding the fat bikes. Now a buddy is looking at getting one, and my little sister did.

I wonder how many of the current crop of older e-bike riders have ridden MCs for a long time during their life? I guess that it is a normal transition - We have the big bikes when younger and stronger (and maybe when our road trips are longer), then we might start to reduce displacement as we start to age (and/or our injuries from younger & dumber times start to catch up with us), and then we discover e-bikes and the motorcycles just don't come out of the garage all that often. At least that is a bit how it went with me. Plus my wife enjoys riding her own e-bike a lot more than sitting on the back of a motorcycle!

Stay well and keep the rubber side down!

Yes I use to ride a motorbike before I had to get rid of in my separation.

Now I am waiting on my Lankeleisi XT750 (Cyrusher calls theirs the Cyrusher Lankeleisi XT750) and am hoping it is here by the end of the month. Have not ridden a bike in over 40 years (turning 60 this year) and am hoping it will put me into better shape (not overweight at all, just out of shape) by commuting to work where possible and just using to enjoy the Vancouver scenes.

Hope you and your wife enjoy your new purchases

Randy
