Cycling Clothes for Riding in the Sweltering Heat of India

I was asked to post this by a London based friend. She is a long distance traditional cyclist who typically rides from 50 to 90 miles a day. She is setting off for travelling to India for November, and I hear it is a very warm country even during the Autumn season.

As many of you are experienced with riding in very warm and humid weather (and some of you might have ridden in India): What cycling clothes would you recommend to her?

What cycling clothes would you recommend to her?

Start with sun protection:

• long sleeves,
• wide-brimmed hat/helmet,
• plenty of sunscreen.
