Chain Replacement? Chain recommendations

Finding out just how hard the mid-drive is on bike components. 525miles, 900km and already on my 3rd Zhiqui Chain Company Huang-juo in Shen Jen. Not to be confused with Shiqui chain of Xia'n in Luanjo. Lost count of how many sets of pads I've been through. I feel indebted to this forum as it's been a gold mine of tips and advice.
1) Pictures of my chain stretched to the point it stopped fitting into the cassette.
2) New Chain installed.
3) Shot of me in the Dominican Republic

Thanks!

I guess I'm near the other end of the spectrum. 2,600 miles and four oilings and still going strong with original Vado chain, though a new KMC 136 link e-bike chain is on order.

Hey, thanks for input fellow riders! Tanforan? KMC? Thabks! I didn't think there's that much difference? May I inquire as to what bike you ride? That's a lot of miles!

You might want to try an bike specific chain from KMC or others.
I get around 1500 miles per chain, never let it stretch out too far.
Also I clean and oil it every 50-75 miles. Use the bike mostly on paved bike paths.
A lot has to do with your weight, riding style, weather, etc.
My riding buddy has over 5k on his Fat Tire Haibike with the original chain and cassettes! With very little maintenance to boot!
IHis chain is really stretched out. I told him if he breaks down on a ride due to lack of maintenance on his bike he's on his own!

It's not the mid drive that is wearing out your chain so quickly, it is where you are riding and what appears from the photos to be a lack of cleaning and lube. The first photo shows an amazing amount of dirt, grit and residue buildup on your cassette & chain. It appears that the teeth on your cassette are already showing signs of extreme wear as well.

I ride mostly on roads and am still obsessive about keeping my chains clean and properly lubricated. I ride hard and fast and have the same Bosch speed motor as you. I clean and lube my chain every 100 miles, which for me means almost every 2 or three days. I get at least 1,500 miles per chain using the Shimano Ultegra or the Connex 11SE . This is why I now do much of my riding on a bike with a Gates carbon fiber belt drive. It gets dirty...rinse it off and let it dry....done!

I am @tallpaul 's buddy...but not THAT buddy ;)

Whipperman/connex chains are tough and they also make a heavy-duty eBike series.
