Yep, it's gonna cost me a lot no matter what. Just checked: If I keep my old phone for the bike, I pass up an $1100 discount on the new phone. That would almost pay for 2 Wahoo ACEs, so no keeping the old phone. No hard evidence except...

And a photo from S24 U that was always transported in my pocket on the rides
I was thinking you could invest in an inexpensive smartphone with a prepaid SIM card but then thought The Solution That Mustn't Be Mentioned would cost money, too
Not sure it has anything to do with America per se, but that's the reality. How come you can get such a huge discount on a 2020 phone...
I'll probably never understand America
Currently, you can get an S24 U for less than a thousand EUR here.
S25 Ultra is EUR1255 in Germany.
My S24 Ultra has a stylusNot sure it has anything to do with America per se, but that's the reality.
Samsung has discontinued the flagship Note line. They point to the S25 Ultra (the only model with stylus) as the successor to my Note20. I want the stylus.
Hmmm, will check it out.My S24 Ultra has a stylusWhat is the aftermarket gross price for S24 Ultra where you live? It is an extremely successful phone!
Beginning to think that you and Verizon and Samsung and Wahoo are all conspiring together to corner me into a new high-end Verizon Samsung in my jersey and a Wahoo ACE on my bars.Jeremy, I edited my post. The price of S25 U in Poland is the official one. We always have the price with the tax included in EU.
@Stefan Mikes
I read that the Wahoo ACE doesn't show street names on its maps. Is this true?
Of course the ACE shows street names. It shows POIs, too!
Music to my ears!A lot of information comes from the time just after the ACE release date. I'm sure the product was greatly underbaked then. After several service software updates, the computer behaves like it should (and I expect even more improvements).
Thanks! I'll audition the Wahoo bell against my Incredibell XL — best attention-getter I've ever had.Jeremy, I'm sure you will experience some unpleasant glitches on the initial setup (which otherwise should be very easy). If you, for instance, will be met by the device unresponsiveness for long minutes, don't panicLong press the main switch to turn the device off and on. I say it because I have gone through it myself and would like to spare you some grievance.
Of course, it all starts by installing the app called just "Wahoo" and registering yourself with Wahoo Sports.
Also, bear in mind you might not get the GPS fix indoors.
P.S. I wonder when you discover how to operate the Bike BellThis feature is not really advertised!

Wahoo Bike Bell has the tone and loudness of the Specialized Simple BellThanks! I'll audition the Wahoo bell against my XL Incredibell — best attention-getter I've ever had.
