Anybody tried Clik tire valves?

If you're going to convert, and then go on a large group ride unprepared, you get what you deserve.
Same with the CO2.
Most Presta pumps and gauges work on Clik.
Clik has more air flow than Presta if I recall correctly.
You can release air on the Clik same as a Schrader, without having to unscrew the Presta valve.

Again... nobody is forcing anyone else do do what I did. Just don't be surprised when someone shows up on a large group ride with them one day... :)

I asked my cycling group for their opinion (these are people riding gravel in groups)
  • They expect Clik to take 1% of the market.
  • The bicycle industry is in crisis; the industry tries promoting new solutions such as "the cycling shoes that give you a 7 W advantage for 600 Euro"
  • There is a general disappointment you cannot use a regular Presta pump with the Clik (can you?)
Nobody really had issues with Presta until someone invented Clik. There is more disagreement whether you should apply wax to your chain or stay with the lube than discussing some stupid valve core, which is absolutely marginal thing.

Both my Bontrager floor pump and my Fumpa work without adaptors on the Clik valves. I changed nothing on them. I have zero clue what market share Clik will achieve, as it's way too early for anyone to know.

Thanks to the actual user reports here, I now have all the info I need to give Clik a go.

For a $10 and 5-minute risk, who cares what people who haven't tried it think?
Nice Jeremy! These really do feel like a quality system, and I think you'll like them (at least I hope so). I certainly do.
Are your current valves removeable? Sounds like it.

BTW... perhaps I missed it, but what is/was your motivation to try them?
Mine was having to find a tool to loosen the Presta valves at least 60% of the time.

Too fiddly to get a good Presta seal with all 3 of my pumps — including a pricey Topeak Joe Blow floor pump. Neighbor's floor pump, too.

My Presta outer thingies aren't bent, so maybe I'm doing it wrong. But if Clik's the easy seal it's generally reported to be, it's worth a try in my book.
