Allant+7 questions

So far I’m lovin it but the Walk button is not activated. Trek bike shops said that Walk is NOT to be enabled in the U.S. because it’s a non-assist function, sort of like having a throttle? Anyone else heard this or had that function enabled?
I‘ve also noted that if I pause pedaling, and then immediately start again the motor kicks in a little faster. Motor pitch increases and it picks up 2-3 mph with the same effort. I’ve tested this and it’s consistent. Anyone else notice this?

Actually “Walk” mode does work on my bike. I mentioned it in another thread but forgot that I mentioned it here. My bad...I simply didn’t read the directions well enough and didn't hold the + button down so it lurched a bit but then stopped. Once I held it down it worked just fine.

I’m curious if anyone has upgraded their Purion to a Kiox? Is that doable & worth it?
