Hello!

I have a 60v fatbike with a 2000w 60v motorcontroller, but the motor is 3000w so im goding to put a 3000w 72v controller on it and upgrade my batteripack and now to my question.
I would like to keep the bikes org gauges and I took the gauges apart to look at the circuit board to see if it can handle 72v and I found a solder pad thats labeled 72v. Anyone who knows if its going to handle 72v and what to connect to the 72v pad?

Best regards Emil

What is the voltage of the fully charged pack? That is what all the components need to be at, or under to be theoretically safe.

The 72v system is att 84v att full charge, i will check if the compnents that handle full voltage before voltage regulator can handle 84v, my guess (and hope)is that the gauge can be used with 48v,60v,72v system and the default setting is 60v and with connecting something to either 48v pad or 72v pad changes so that the battery level meter showing correct charging state of the battery.
