Lectric XP Ride and Range Reports

Nice report and I'll have to try that rails to trails. I agree with you and that the scenery goes by a bit too fast even in level 1. I wish that pas1 was around five or 6 miles an hour. I run my tires at 19 pounds, much more comfortable there.

From what little information I could gather from your photos, are you at Kewadin State Park? I spent a lot of time on Wellesley Island in the RV. Hanging out at 4-mile creek this weekend.

In addition to what has been mentioned before, unplug the charge port cover from the side of the bike. It will bind and prevent the battery from being removed. There is also a handle built into the battery, it's a small u-shaped handle that will flip up from the bottom.

After receiving my first bike today, and going through the menu settings and reviewing recent past posts, it looks like new units arriving have some menu settings locked and not able to be changed. There have been several posts with individuals not being able to change wheel diameter. While I...

    Where's My XP?

290x arrived today in Buffalo NY. 368x arrives in a few days. Go figures, it's raining today.

    Where's My XP?

Okay now I'm really pissed off at FedEx, the armpit of all shippers. FedEx RECEIVED order #290x last Thursday on 9/12. They sat on it until Monday 9/16. This morning, Friday 9/20, I received a notification from FedEx that it would be DELIVERED TODAY. I completely rearranged my schedule and the...

    Where's My XP?

My order 290x finally moved today for the first time but what stinks is that a person with 309x already received theirs.

    Where's My XP?

#290x ordered 20 July. I received the tracking number this morning but of course it does not show up in the FedEx system. The proverbial headlight is on. It will probably be another two or so weeks before my other order, #368x August 8th receives It's Magic tracking number.

Thanks for your post. Do you have a link for those bad ass street tires? How does the ride compare from the factory tires to the aftermarket tires?

I would not trust these with unknown battery cells.

Car and RV charging. Let's do some simple electrical math for the non math people out there. Using an inverter to go from 12 volts to 120 volts we have a 10 to 1 ratio. If we need 1 amp of current at 120 volts we will need 10 amps of current at 12 volts. Most bike chargers are rated at 2 amps at...

A 300 watt pure sine wave inverter will do the job. Keep in mind that a full charge will suck 50 amp hours out of your house batteries.

Agreed. They are not making use of their social media and their website. It would be quite simple for them to post " this week we are shipping order numbers 2200-2800." Instead, I'm sure they're overwhelmed with where's my bike emails.

Get up to speed and test it on the road. It would be interesting to see if they use a dumb or a smart PAS sensor.

After this weekend, I expect a detailed review on mileage attained while riding into the head winds of a hurricane. While you are at it, discuss water resistance with hurricane-force driven rains. Give me a few months and I'll talk about the performance during a blizzard in Buffalo New York...
