zoom front suspension fork

okey guys, just installed a zoom suspension front fork on my mosso 20 inch folder, powered by bbso2 by luna.
i never thought that this entry level front fork can make the ride so plush...
i use to slow down over rough patches in my neighbourhood but last night i intentionally went over these pot holes with some serious mph speed and this little front fork has brought new wave of excitement in my night rides...
the installation was a little tricky but my first time experience with this guy called mr yan from downtube website.
he even threw a complete threadless assembly kit for free...
actually better customer service experience than luna cycles honestly.
will post some pics when i get a chance.

I'm wondering what your tire widths are. I've found that when you ride tires over 2" wide (I prefer the Moto X 2.4s) the suspension performance of the tire itself is good enough for most street riding.

Front forks on urban street ebikes is more about the less-advanced typical US rider vs the European riders that typically don't want forks on their urban ebike.

I discovered this out on an ebike that had very high end Magura air forks. After installing the Schwalbe Moto X 27.5 x 2.4s on the bike I was locking out the front suspension a lot just to see if I could tell the difference for most of my rides. I honestly could not (unless the road was really rough and that is usually a very small % of urban / commute riding). I then switched out the suspension forks with carbon rigid fork (these have come down so much in price recently they are a bargain) and I felt the bike handing was so much better even if say a small % of the vibrations are transmitted that weren't with the suspension forks.

There is some data on air volume vs suspension forks on Schwalbe's website every urban / commuter ebiker should read. Don't let the suspension fork marketing be your only koolaid, get all the information you can.

i have shwablee 2.15 inch street racer on my mosso right now, totally agree, the sharpness in terms of handling goes out the window as soon as i installed the suspension fork, i don't know where u live but out here in new york suburbs, the roads are okay but we have a lot of these manholes for god knows what goes under them in abundance...
