Yikes

Two Eunorau converters. The cheap seat has an 18A limit. But will work fine on my 36V BBS01B motors.
Bolton is out of stock.
It states a limit of 18ah battery size.
More importantly it should have an overall current rating... smh...

So it can combine different voltage batteries?
Several sellers list voltage requirements. I wouldn't mix. THAT'S the problem with these cursory reviews. Once we find a link we need to follow it and READ the details. That's where the devil is!

"With the DATEx2 device, you can combine any battery, for example, 52V with 48V or even 36V, regardless of their chemistry, voltage, state of charge, or capacity as long as the controller supports the voltage and the hard-limits are not exceeded."

I'm always suspicious when there are ZERO critical reviews

Zero critical reviews usually reminds me that positive reviews are often paid for ...

Reviews need to be from source other than the seller's website. That is why I use Google Maps reviews. Yesterday I got a Five-Star review on maps that I disputed with Google. I did not know the person and they said that I rented them a bike but I do not rent bikes. Request denied. I cannot edit those reviews.
My easy answer is not technical at all and is probably more prone to have some sag but not much with good cells. I generally use connectors and battery mounts that can work with several sizes of batteries. A shorter ride equals a smaller battery. A longer ride a bigger one for the same bike. On a six-hour ride, which I would never do I, could take two batteries to use sequentially. The latest ones that can take multiple sizes are super cool.

Anything is possible with hardware... but there's always efficiency to consider. According to the video, it claims to be quite efficient. It's not inexpensive so there can be some innovative tech going on here. They also state that the charge function is accomplished through the Discharge Port. This also gives me concern as I believe this will bypass the overcharge safety function of the BMS. There also needs to be clarification if the charge function works with different voltage batteries. It's all in the details and some are missing here.
0 critical reviews isn't necessarily a sign of deceit, especially if it actually does what it says it can.
That said, I agree with the rest of you... I'd wait for some independent reviews.

juiced Ripcurrent S with extended stock battery 52 volt 12ah and Bolton 52 volt 30ah triangle battery. I got the adapter and it has cut-90 connectors Whilst the stock juices has Xt-60. I’m curious as to how to wire this thing up. I can assume the wiring goes from controller(XT90-S) to battery one(Stock battery) to battery two(extended battery). I don’t want to blow myself up so I’m taking it slowly. Ha.
Yikes is correct!

I had never heard of Datex2, but looks interesting.

So it can combine different voltage batteries? For example mixing 48V (54.6V) and 52V(58.8V) batteries.
I think typically companies selling converters advise against this.
whats the difference between datex2 and the cheap alternatives, cost $100 more.

After watching a youtbe review and testing I will not be using the $35 dual battery connector.
$150 to me is too steep of a price. I'm back to a dual battery switch. DPDT.
