Experts in shipping and logistics have already beaten that topic to death and explained why that isn't going to happen.Be interesting to see the reaction when the tariffs are ended next month and businesses have stock they imported before they end.
Which one?Experts in shipping and logistics have already beaten that topic to death and explained why that isn't going to happen.
3) Mr. T. with his tail tucked between his legs while back pedaling as a big fat looser exposed as truly weak and vulnerable. A catastrophic screw-up which he has to eat and own as a fool. And the economy will take a year to recover, only if he stops being an idot and listening to selfish market manipulating billionaires, instead of needs of the people.Which one?
1. Tariffs 'ending' in a month. No.
2. Sad businesses sitting on overstock. No.
Actually all of it.Which one?

2. Sad businesses sitting on overstock. No.
Some incentives are necessary. but we have left behind the ideas of incentives to compete with govt run and backed businesses (China) to now having incentives that help get around the convoluted tax, fee structure to do anything in this country.I disagree with federal gov't incentives for anything.

Did everyone take advantage of the emotional sellers?Been buying during current emotional trade dips.
I think Buffett said sell when others are buying and buy when others are selling.
I tried, but my Bessent Puts are going to end up expiring. At least I have the put income in a down market.Did everyone take advantage of the emotional sellers?
Hope it works out for you overall, whatever that means.I tried, but my Bessent Puts are going to end up expiring. At least I have the put income in a down market.
An emotional seller is an emotional seller. On the road right now so I'll reevaluate when I get home. See if I should take profits in the 2 weeks I'm home b4 leaving for a month.Let's keep in mind that a lot of those "emotional sellers" seem to be large institutional investors who have decided that the US Markets are too risky and are putting their money elsewhere.
A put is an option trade where you pledge to buy a stock at a price lower than it is currently trading at. The option lasts for a set period of time. If someone exercises the option, you have to buy the stock at that price. You can either use cash on hand or borrow it with a margin loan. For the privilege, you get paid cash, whether the option is exercised or not. It's a "buy the dip" strategy that is less risky that buying outright.Hope it works out for you overall, whatever that means.
?SMH.
It's the greatest wealth generation machine ever invented. Like all things economic, people get in trouble when they let emotions get in the way.?
What's wrong with BS&T; What goes up, must come down, spinning wheel got to go 'round.
This market isn't for everyone; people shouldn't be in if it bothers them. I actually don't mind the periodic in and out.
Familar with puts, just don't use them. Don't know what a Bessent Put is.It's a "buy the dip" strategy that is less risky that buying outright.
Labeling what has been historically the smart money "emotional" doesn't really accomplish much.An emotional seller is an emotional seller. On the road right now so I'll reevaluate when I get home. See if I should take profits in the 2 weeks I'm home b4 leaving for a month.
God bless our predictablely unpredictable President.
Not familiar with that term.smart money
