Market analyses of the Dutch bike market. Rise in average price paid on a new bike, still the same percentage on e-bikes, L1e going down. Bike sales going a bit down since covid and post covid issues.
S-Pedelecs are mopeds by law. With their high price and numerous obligations and limitations, it is no wonder S-Pedelecs go down. Especially as the whole horde of the food couriers ride illegal Chinese crap.
Well basicly just a one brand show at this moment in the BLX. Belgium show the same figures roughly. Most of the L1e are lease bikes from Stromer via KBC-lease.
Post covid and wit the resent overstock issues at dealers and OEM's you would expect the market to slow down and a sharper cut in the everage price paid. We see lot of the E-bikes are still sold at a desent price and via the professional channels. So that is a bonus. That would lead to a better situation for the OEM's with less competetion in the next months and next year. So this is a positive signal.
Market in Germany and Austra is a bit different story. Lets hope that pulls together soon.
