Volt mariner to drop off kid at school

Hi all happy (or unhappy) Volt Mariner owners!! I've got my eyes on a Volt Mariner and curious.....my idea is to use it to first get my kid (6yr old, 48inches) to school (about 10 mins away) then haul myself to work. It seems like a great bike for my own commute, but the built of the bike - would her feet drag the ground:)

The Mariner is not short. Although the rims are 20 inches, the fatter tires add several inches top and bottom. In fact, shorter riders complain they cannot easily stand with both feet on the ground.

However, if you are asking about mounting a bike seat, I have no advice at all. I have seen wheeled trailers with kids, but I've never personally seen a bike seat on a Mariner. I assume the bike seat manufacturer would have advice.

Thank you for input! I wouldn’t put a bike seat in the back, she’d just sit on the rear rack.....so I was just worried it might be low compared to say a rad wagon/trek or such
