UK hol?

I'm more 'expert' in the UK, the North of England. Not a bad hol if you don't need the spectacular, globally. It's a chill thing. I love it. We live in the Pennines......it's well good. we only have to 'step out' of our home and it's there. I'll tell you what you what to expect and where.

Not made myself clear. This is a DIY hol in the uk pennines in july/aug on bike if you want, camping or course, but also hostels, etc, I'm not daft, will sort you. i just want to give something back. The north Pennines are soooo lovely, once in a lifetime......I will help you. You just don't know hat I am offering you, so pm me and see. I Can't go on like this prostituting myself. This is not crap. I jst happen to be born and live in an amazing English experience. I promise i would not s*it you at all in the slightest, and you would know that, you could see. It would be a crime for me to not let you know. I just want to give something back

'I'll carry on a little, knowing how it would be for me in their/your position. I'd love to start broadcasting, but it is special, special scientific interest designation. Take that in, I'm on the level, and wanting to give back for your mid-drive etc help. It's cycle stuff, if you want,, lovely. I'm not going to bump this up again, as it has had time to be seen. The Pennines is a range of hills that run up the north of England, colloquially known as the backbone of England. The North is quieter than the south of England....better. There is some good riding to be had, there are signed cycle routes on quiet little roads. It is also a place for walkers, especially those undertaking the long Pennine Way trail, and this means there is a well established series of places, hostels, to stay cheaply, a bed maybe in a dorm, and shared facilities you need. There is also a system of having your stuff taken to your next port of call ready for you. There are also youth hostels off the trail, all around, all cheap, shared facilities. You can look all this up, and also the cycle routes. The area I suggest is from around Skipton in Yorkshire and up to the Scottish boarder, keeping within the hills and moorland as it is all the more peaceful and spiritual. Look up The Pennines to get an idea of the area I mean. A micro tent would be useful in case of needing a campsite, or just wild camping. There is no crime to speak of, no danger. The National Health Service takes care of things medical you may need.

There is Hadrian's Wall and many historic places/buildings. Towns are charming market towns. You would also take in The Yorkshire Dales. These places are national parks and places of special scientific interest.

Of course you'd have to research all this, but you now know the area where to look. So look up images of The Yorkshire Dales, images of North Yorkshire moors.

July and August are the best months. You could get some rain, but it would not be bad rain. There are no pests like midges to be a problem obviously they can be sometimes near water in the evening). There is nothing like any wild animals or anything to have any special concern about. You could walk anywhere and lay down anywhere without looking.

To the west is The Lake District. Look that up. It is more busy, whereas the Yorkshire Dales and North Pennines are quiet and relaxed.

This is a good offer. You would do well if it was your sort of thing. You'd have your own reason for such a holiday. But the areas I have told you of would have no 'rubbish' to ruin your holiday or waste your valuable time. I'm putting this thread up by way of a thank you for the help you folks have given me in learning about ebikes and being able to get the bike I needed. It has changed my life and I am very grateful. It could be the magical holiday of a lifetime.
