My question is how does this effect Ebikes in North America ?
If they are assembled in any way at over 75% my understanding is they get to be tariff free.
But almost all the Ebikes are built in China and then come here. Sure there are home grown brands like Watt Wagon that will get the exclusion because he is building his own bikes, but big brands like Juiced and Sondors,
I see tariffs on these guys. Of coarse I am talking crossing into Canada or Mexico mostly but of coarse, but the same could apply to Canadian companies sending their Ebikes the other way like Volt, Surface604 and DOST.
