We do have one coal fired plant which must shut down by 2025. It actually had a mine nearby, that supplied some of the coal. The mine was shut down around 15 years ago. This was run by Trans Alta.
My electricity is supplied by a Public Utility and that is controlled by the Bonneville Power Administration. Bonneville kinda figures out the allotment and the prices from the hydro supplies.

Yep that's exactly what I meant. I camped next to a couple from California who had the exact same thing. They drove down to Louisiana to pick it up .. it was used ... just the day before we met.
Spent time exploring the galley and eating supper at the camp restaurant with us.

Reminded me when our local police force needed new cruisers many years ago. The Department wanted to go with Japanese models as they were the most reliable but the public made a big stink about buying USA so they wound up buying Chevys. Not long after the purchase a reporter pointed out that they were all made in Canada.

Mine is a hog on wheels.. 36ft Foretravel U320 class A diesel pusher with 2 slides.. Older but very we love it...We take the kids and grandkids so we get a full house sometimes So we need the extra room.

Supply chains are about to crack in half..plz be prepared ... we have enough food for a couple months stored up and plenty of whats needed to protect life and limb.. So many issues its inevitable I feel... If wrong then atleast you have some food to work on for the next few months or so... If this is correct then you will be prepared for whats coming or partially...

I don't think that the Casitas, Scamps, and Escapes are that spendy. They are similar in price to a "stick built" trailer. Bought mine used, from friends and I'd even camped with them when they had it. It is very basic. An RV guy who was fixing a leaking hose on it, and then showed me how to do that, was planning on getting one because they are basic and easy to work on. Mine has a shower, toilet, sinks, fridge, and little stove. That's all I need. I sometimes wish it had a furnace, but hear those are noisy.
My trailer does get smaller the longer I stay in it. I wish it had a comfy chair in it instead of the upright benches and little table. I leave the bed out all the time as I have a memory foam topper on it. On my trip, I spent a night in a parking lot, being rocked by the N. Dasota wind and next to idling semis. I slept well--pretended it was fire camp with generators running. Speaking of, the trailer is so basic that I don't need a generator. I recharge the battery with a portable solar panel if I'm camped. The major badness about the trailer is that...it is small. It's good to be short in it.
It tows very well with no sway.

Wasnt trying to convince anyone.. You guys are all stuck in old mode and are beyond learning I guess (some of you).. This wasnt for you just a public announcement that the CDC has changed there stand on some issues that the older ones here are wrong about is all... trying to help the others with the facts is all.. CDC is as good as it gets (according to you guys)..
It always amazes me when I use the same resources to show that the narrative has changed .. No one is interested now? I find it kinda interesting as most was crying from the rooftop.. THE CDC SAID< BUT THE CDC SAID.. Ok the Shoe is on the other foot now its not as interesting .
