Yes I know. By you and others that think like you. It's important to know if/when you are being scammed.

You are being scammed.
How so?Yes I know. By you and others that think like you.
OK Maybe scam's a bad word since I'm not being scammed by anyone. Being fed bad info is closer to the truth. You see when standing in water up to my neck and it's approaching my nose it's of little interest to me whether the water's rising or I'm sinking. I'm either seeking higher ground along with millions of others or drowning. On the other hand if I and billions of others could modify their behavior so the water stopped rising then that would be better. And even if said modifications did not stop the water from rising but just made the air, land, and water cleaner it's still a big win.How so?
What bad info have I fed you?Being fed bad info is closer to the truth.
And when you have more skin between your nose and the water, it doesn't matter whether water is lowering or you're growing...things are improving in your situation. And if you're busy planning for bigger better housing, the whole emergency scenario goes out the window. You see when standing in water up to my neck and it's approaching my nose it's of little interest to me whether the water's rising or I'm sinking.
Speaking of floods, fire season here has been replaced by flood season. Am currently experiencingTuvalu has about the same population as Miami Florida, but Bangladesh has almost half the popluation of the whole USA. That's a lot of people to get flooded and need aid. That's why "loss and damage" got kicked down the road, I suspect.
Am expecting a conquest by giant amphibians with opposable thumbs & venomous warts.@PedalUma I looked it up. Added it to my List, but the List is long while Life is short. Anyway, I decided to re read a big work of fiction for the coming of the cold weather this year. As I mentioned something escapist that I already know the storyline, not something new to gamble on. Probably something with an elf or an alien race in it.
Dune.
The missing Click Bait is a picture of a venomous toad in a suit that I think we have all seen before.Am expecting a conquest by giant amphibians with opposable thumbs & venomous warts.
This new and improved four seasons of Fire, Flood, Dust, and Mud often predicted by scientists ? Purely a coincidence.Speaking of floods, fire season here has been replaced by flood season. Am currently experiencing
our daily deluge. The street out front has become a stream. It´s biblical out there; I glad we´re on high
ground. This is supposed to continue for the next ten days.. Flooding´s nothing new here; we get
a pineapple express almost yearly, but this one is unprecedented in scale. This is bound to create
mudslides aplenty. Nope, I take it back; I ain´t ridin´ in this stuff! I´d be drenched B4 I could reach
the end of the driveway.
Yikes... And yeah, good old EssoDamn…looks almost as bad as when I was in Nashville awhile back and couldn’t leave the hotel for 2 days. On a lighter note I see the word Esso is still extant
I'm fine mate. I'm up a large hill from that picture so we're safe here so far.I hope you are okay Dave. I predict that south central Saskatchewan will be hit hard this year due to climate change. Strong winds (100Km) and blowing snow are expected across southern Saskatchewan tonight and Tuesday. But who knows, I could be wrong? At least the winds are obeying the speed limit.
Just wow. I hadn't looked at the weather. Are you safe and packed to leave ?Here in B.C. we are currently experiencing floods and winds not seen for decades (if ever). Both Merritt and Princeton B.C. are completely evacuated today.
5th picture down here is about 1 mile from where I am sitting...
In photos: Major flooding across southern B.C. prompts rescues and evacuations
Flood warnings and watches were issued for areas from Merritt south to the United States border, the lower Fraser region and sections of southern Vancouver Island.www.theglobeandmail.com
Thanks mate.Just wow. I hadn't looked at the weather. Are you safe and packed to leave ?
I see you are ok. Might be a while before the roads are usable. I can't imagine trying to evacuate in that .
