Hydrogen is closer than you think…it’s needed to store excess green energy as well as be an end user in itself. Rapidly increasing computing power is assisting much wider forays into exotic compounds which is reflective in the ever improving, ever cheaper, solar panels. There is only one drill field in the world presently devoted to producing hydrogen, but one company is exploring for more, and hopefully increasingly idle drill rigs will turn their attention to hydrogen.
