One of the shops I was in had a number of in-stock eSpecialized. Since the broken frames, I wouldn’t consider one, of course. That’s what my LBS said to me in March about the guest rider Allant I had money down on. She does have a Specialized coming in…
Thanks. It’s the Trout Run trail in Decorah, IA. 11 mile trail with some great switchbacks and elevation.Dallant: What a spectacular picture of a pretty countryside and winding road. Where was this picture taken at?
As I said, there are ebikes out there. Ordering one you want will be the issue.I went to a big eBike dealer in Madison last Friday. He has a huge inventory on hand.
Which one?I went to a big eBike dealer in Madison last Friday. He has a huge inventory on hand.
Please explain about the broken frames ?One of the shops I was in had a number of in-stock eSpecialized. Since the broken frames, I wouldn’t consider one, of course.
Where? Two of my LBS ... Giant and Specialized ... seem to have plenty of bikes available. The Giant dealer is advertising over 300 bikes and 80 ebikes in stock. Parts and accessories are still spotty.
I'm in central Pennsylvania... thought you knew that. Anyway Comos and Vados are in stock, no Creos or Levos, and 80 ebikes advertised at the Giant dealer. I didn't go into the Trek shop, it looks pretty normal, but they never have very many bikes or ebikes in stock.Where?
Yeah, this is about ebikes. As I said, some have in-stock but ordering anything is the problem.
I’ve got a hanger, pads, chains, tires, and tubes. I need more back up!It is also a good idea to buy replacement wear parts you might need in advance so you have them on hand when needed. Some of these items are months out from most sources already.
My parts on hand list includes:
- Brake pads
- Brake rotors
- Chains
- Cassettes
- Derailleur hanger
- Derailleur
- Tires
- Tubes
Can they be purchased long distance?I'm in central Pennsylvania... thought you knew that. Anyway Comos and Vados are in stock, no Creos or Levos, and 80 ebikes advertised at the Giant dealer. I didn't go into the Trek shop, it looks pretty normal, but they never have very many bikes or ebikes in stock.
Specialized dealer complained about getting replacement parts.
Sorry...I’m getting older and more forgetful.I'm in central Pennsylvania... thought you knew that. Crazy Lenny's. They must have had 50 BMCs which is what I wanted. I'll admit that most of those were 2020 MY, but with a current $2,000 discount, that was definitely what I wanted! His showroom is as full as I've ever seen it with Haibike, Stromer, Bulls, Magnum, Rambo, IGo, IZip, etc....Which one?
