Switching from a Specialized XC Full Suspension - what are my top 3?

Hey guys,

Switching over from a full suspension Specialized bike

Want to have 30-40 mile range with pedaling as well.

Trying not to overthink this new bike setup
- Under $4000 - used is ok
- Full suspension
- Does not need to be newest model
- 500W+

Wondering what you guys think are top 3 on this ?

You will get a LOT of different answers. And many will ask the question: How and where do you plan to ride it? Trails, enduro/downhill, open country or tight stuff, do you favor stability or quickness/playfulness, etc.

A lot of great info. Bikes which are both within and above your price specification, lots of real experience, and explanations of why one over another.

A great deal of yakity-yak too - sometimes it is tough to keep these folks on track...
