Super large panniers

Dear EBRs,

I will be e-biking cross country on the Lincoln Highway in the US, a route not frequently peddled. I will be on my beloved Riese Muller Supercharger Two.

I am looking for extra large, high-quality, strong panniers as I need to carry lots of professional video equipment. I will use MIK plates both for a front carrier (Thule with a MIK plate) and on the back rack.

Any suggestions?

Greetings,

Gregory
Some very good suggestions in this thread. I personally have ortliebs and they have served me very well and many others.
I don’t think it was mentioned yet but Vaude is another maker of a very wide range of panniers. The quality is definitely equal to Ortlieb and Arkel.

This set in particular has a huge total volume of 68 liters.

I have Ortliebs for the two of my fatbikes, using the Surly Nice rear rack on the front and rear of my Specialized Fatboy; and the Old Man Mountain Fat Sherpa racks, front and rear of my Haibike Full FatSix. The beauty of the OMM rack is that the weight in the pannier bags are placed on the front and rear through axles, not the front shock tubes with that Thule.

I see most everyone else is in agreement with the Ortliebs. The only question I have is whether the Ortlieb mounting system is going to work with that Thule. The horizontal bar seems a bit too big and I see nothing that would secure the Ortlieb lower mounting support; thus the bag is allowed to flop into your front spokes.
