The C class that followed this model is quite different in the frame. It has a Tongsheng mid motor and Shimano Nexium 7 gear rear hub. I have one, and like it quite a bit. As far as I can tell, it is no longer available.

Dahon foldable cargo trike. Tongsheng TSDZ2 mid-drive motor (maybe the cargo variant @PedalUma uses?), 5-speed, 24" front and 20" rear wheels, and a large 48v 20ah battery. The max cargo capacity claimed is 250kg/550lb (presumably that includes the weight of the rider). Source.

Could be a big market for ebikes with throttles. Hard to see them pedaling much.

Sensible upgrades for MY23, the more powerful motor, and larger battery, together with some nice upgrades like adding a brake sensor on the tail light, keep this model competitive. Same upgrades apply to the 2023 Liv Amiti E+ which offers an extra small frame size and slightly different geometry over the Giant Explore E+ equivalent models.
