Specialized Como 3 derestrict

Hi Everyone, I'm new to the community. But I've enjoyed reading your posts for some time. I've got both a Como 3 and a Como 5(class 3). I've come to realize I enjoy going just a little faster than the Como 3 will take me. Anyone used the Badass box 4 on a Como 3? Is there enough play in the speed sensor cable to move it ? Any other tips or ideas.

A member suggested Planet3. I do a lot of mud and water off road (yes, with a Como). Has anyone used a Planet 3 in those conditions. Thanks, Doug

Finally installed speedfun furious on my Como 3 and it works great. Easy to install, no error messages and no hitting the wall at 20 mph. Had it for about 6 weeks now. Doug

Tell us more about this device. How is it installed? Does it change the display, too, or are the speed and mileage inaccurate? How long did it take you to receive the thing once you ordered it? Have you needed to communicate with the company and if so, was their service good?

It's installed inline with the speed sensor. On my Como 3, just turn upside down, remove guard over motor, and you are looking at input of speed sensor. Pull out, replace with identical plug of Speedfun Furious, connect speed sensor with other end of Speedfun furious , heat seal and you are done! Got it from Ebikespartandaccesories. Came from Bulgaria via who knows where! Works by reducing the speed on TCD display by 50% Also distance is off by 50%. Can't pedal fast enough to hit the new limit! No issues so far.

How much faster do you eat up your battery?

Same as you would normally. I only go over the 20 mph previous limit very infrequently. Just like not hitting that barrier repeatedly.
