Yeah it is. About the longest bicycle chain I've seen. So far it's worked ok. I put a one speed derailleur when I installed moto and I use the 3 middle wheel sprocket and move chain to larger or smaller by hand. It was a 7 speed to start with.

Wow, that's a lot of vultures and bird houses! If I lived in that human house, I'd be wishing I hadn't skipped my last medical checkup.

The red on their heads makes me think they're turkey vultures, which apparently rarely go after healthy live prey. So maybe the bird houses are safe after all.

But according to this NYT article, black vutures (no red markings) may be a different story:
