Usually turn street laps on quickie neighborhood rides but occasionally cut through the greenbelt.

Lately I've observed an alarming turtle and duck build-up on the ponds.

I have reason to believe that the turtles are preparing an amphibious assault with the ducks flying recon and close air support.

Scouts headed toward my street.

Children have been feeding the ducks and turtles despite the signage. And now that they've tasted stale bread, they'll stop at nothing to get more. Exactly as the HOA feared.

The ducks already have enough intel to know where the bread comes from. They promised the turtles a cut for handling the ground operation.

OK, OK, you're thinking this guy's delusional. But every word squares with the intel they've been collecting on the mothership that abducted me last May. (We stay in touch.)

We visited Beauvoir here in Biloxi as well. Surprisingly Hurricane Katrina did only minor damage. A neat museum with a lot of history.

I must say that’s a nice neighborhood that you live in Jeremy and the coastline and year-round mild climate make for an idyllic setting. Add a few rabbits into the mix and you would have yourself one fabled ride.

Very fortunate to have been able to retire here. The extensive regional bike infrastructure is another big plus — one that definitely played into my return to cycling.

Now that you mention rabbits, don't recall seeing any in the neighborhood. But we do have coyotes and roadrunners:

The HOA's pretty good about cleaning up all the anvils and empty Acme crates.

Crash 'n Grab: Seems to be a new fad amongst the criminal element around here. Second one this week. The stupid part is they don't usually get anything valuable since it always gets called in right away. Even at 4 in the morning someone will notice when you ram your pickup through the pharmacy door.

I thought this might me a Childs grave but nope a 41 one year old guy who died in 2001 his wife names on the marker too but no date. guess she still loves him they are birthday balloons and a heart ballon. pretty cool really.

Somewhere around here is a thread on bikes , drones, and jet suits videos short but Intense enough to look for sometime if you are wasting time on EBR. If you find it and try crossing it with dual pogo sticks you won't need to look for a lawyer, they will line up for you.

A Spectacular Over-The-Bars

She is a competing gravel cyclist, often making our Club members embarassed with her strong performance and speed. Last Saturday she set off for a 153 km ride in our region. The ride involved so-called Military Range near Warsaw. There is a river crossing made of damaged concrete blocks (the alternative way is to cross the river through a dilapidated wooden gangway). When the river is low, a good rider can just ride through the water while carefully observing the river bottom. Or, people just walk on the concrete walking or carrying their bikes. This time, the woman decided to ride over the concrete blocks and didn't spot a gap... It ended with winter swimming and the spectacular photo

This might speak to the high prices one encounters during trips to the local grocers. One can only hope they will eventually come down.

With so much thaw and freeze occurring during this time of the season, plenty of caution must be taken to avoid becoming a casualty on this icy section approaching an underpass. It’s downhill and a sharp right prior to hitting this slick segment which might deceive an unwitting rider who is approaching the descent at a high speed.
