I think the XKE (convertible) is the most beautiful production car ever built. The coupe is very good looking, but the convertible is stunning.

I am always amazed at how small the E types are in real life. They don't look it in the photos usually, but they are really small cars ( by today's standards). That's why the pic of the Jag between the two giant Toyota SUVs ... looks like you could put the Jag in the back and drive away. Wonder when Toyotas got so huge?

The cars of today are superior ,wonderful machines but they lack mojo or soul.

Got home (from testing out my newly installed brake pads ,cassette ,chain and front ring) to find this black beast in my neighbors front yard.

Ok, that's a similar distance to the last bear pic posted.

We had bears for maybe 2-3 years when I moved into Delta near the bog. None since the highway 91 went in.

Part of my regular ride includes a shared horse trail or rather deep ruts that can be quite disgusting. No where else to ride other than straight through the manure.

But I would rather ride through horse manure than Canada goose poop. When cleaning the bikes I find it more sticky , pungent and revolting (-:
