A lot of canids, notably coyote and foxes, do this. So it isn't that surprising to see it from time to time. Interestingly some domestic dogs also make a habit of pooping on top of things.

I came across this movie set today and noticed they changed the name of the school to Beaverdale high.

Kilometers, thanks AlanDB. I have a ways to go to catch some EBR peeps. I read recently that one commuter had put 22,000 miles on his Ebike!
