We had to stop and take a photo of this enormous cracked rock by the side of the road in Connecticut. I like to imagine how the heck this rock originally got here (rolled down a hill? Carried underwater by giant waves millions of years ago?)

Totally agree with you guys! There are several of these massive “how the heck did that get there??” boulders in this area, and glaciers definitely makes the most sense.

They’re also great for climbing, as my littlest is demonstrating in this photo

I have noticed these springing up around the city. not sure if they are lighted at night as I dont usually go to those places in the dark.

These are toll turkeys on our rail trail. Had to pay them a dollar to get through the gate.
