This lone ewe or yearling ram seemed to sense that this particular spot was a relatively convenient place to hang out. It’s as if it was looking back compelling me to pay attention to the road signage.

They don’t get much more iconic than that, especially in British Racing Green.
I had a BRG '63 Sprite, non bug eye but side curtains and wire wheels, as my first car in 1970 drove off right away in it after getting my license. $500. A guy in town had a light blue 3000 that I lusted after though! I wanted to buy it but couldn't afford it when it came up for sale for $1500 in '72. Ended up with a '67 BRG MGB that I got for a grand after the gear box blew in the Sprite.

I came home after a short ride in the hot afternoon sun and spotted this muley buck bedded down in a shady spot across the street. All of the neighbors were oblivious of the creature’s presence and I thought that I would just leave him be as he might appreciate the solitude. 🦌

A few picks from the last week:

I always like to see these, wherever I go. On Nose Hill in Calgary, just above the Calgary Winter Club.

From the Weaselhead in SW Calgary. Busy guys are unfortunately undermining the shore to the right, and a bike path there is getting dangerously eroded.
I don't have a pic of that.

Me, not too far from there.

One of my previous postings described a seasonal pond on Nose Hill that would be a "Doggy Play Area" on the weekend.
Voila:

And finally, some of the terrain I am fortunate to have nearby.
