Anyways my touring bike survived the thrashing and the view from the exit was worth it.

Not my pic but a riding buddy of mine who was recently on one of our local trails came across this moose blocking the way at the top of the single track. It wouldn’t move no matter how much he shouted at it. Bullwinkle just looked at him dumbfounded. The animal left him no other option but to turn around and finish his ride.View attachment 84362

Riverview park has a fun flow loop with lots of rollers suitable for all ages .

Wild Trilliums are blooming there now. I did not know that they are members of the Lily family

This mornings ride was a loop comprised of mostly trails by using connecting or adjacent parks: Coquitlam river trail to Colony farms. Then up through the newly named Səmiq̓wəʔelə lands and on to Riverview park above. Across Mundy park and down to Port Moody via a steep singletrack at the foot of Harbour drive. Then over the train overpass to Rocky Point park and up to Bert Flinn park . Finally East along the David ave path to the Coquitlam river trail again.

After the steep sections of this ride I decided that Smart Sam is not cutting it on the rear and Magic Mary is going back on. The Maxxis DH on the front can stay (-:

I saw this and wised my wife was with me to read it. I guess if a blind person trips on it they know who to call to sue.
